Position: Production Planner

An experienced Production Planner is required for a growing North-West print company with a wide range of state-of-the-art print equipment including digital.
The role will involve controlling, organising and monitoring the flow of printed material within the business, checking schedules, booking in jobs daily, confirming product specifications, quality control checks, and ensuring deadlines are met. A typical day might involve:
- checking that specifications have been adhered to
- IT literacy in order to adapt computer systems to suit particular jobs
- Monitoring the quality levels
- Improving processes where possible
- Liaising with account managers and reps
- Liaising directly with customers
- Estimating
